KAP MEDICAL is a Designer and Manufacturer of State of the Art Therapeutic Support Surfaces and other Medical Electronic Products.  Established in 2000, KAP team of experts with vast experience in Research & Development, Engineering, RA/QA, and Manufacturing can address all Engineering and Manufacturing Challenges.  KAP MEDICAL has not only brought the most innovative and reliable products to the market, but we have done it with high quality and affordable.  We Design, Manufacture, and Assemble all of our products with pride in Corona, California, USA.

KAP MEDICAL was founded by: Raj K. Gowda BS (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), BSME, MSSE; Dan F. Rosenmayer BSEE; and Dave D. Lewis Electromechanical Engineer.  The above members have over 50 years of cumulative experience in Medical (Sunrise Medical, Plexus Medical, & KAP MEDICAL), Aerospace (Hughes Aircraft), and Industrial Electronics (3M, Xerox, 3D Systems, and Lucus Duralith) products design, manufacturing, and RAQA.  Numerous patents have been issued on products designed by the team. 

 

Over the past fifteen years, the above members of KAP MEDICAL have developed, designed and manufactured air floatation products (support surfaces) for the prevention of decubitus ulcers, pulmonary therapy, compression therapy, and other medical electronic products.  They have earned a well-deserved high reputation in the medical industry as developers, designers and manufacturers of high quality state of the art and affordable products available to medical caregivers in home care, acute care, and long term care environments.

 

In January of 2000 KAP MEDICAL entered the medical electronics market, especially support surface therapy market as a research and development, designer and contract manufacture of OEM products.  In October 2000 KAP Medical introduced its own line of microcomputer controlled state-of-the-art, and cost effective new generation portable support surface systems.  KAP Medical offers affordable high technology decubitus ulcer management (pressure related wounds or bed sores) products and other medical electronics products for the domestic and International markets.

KAP Medical products are designed, manufactured and assembled in our state of the art facility in Corona, CA, USA, using high quality components. They are assembled and tested by highly skilled and trained technicians.  Product quality and safety are our number one priority.  We program all of our product software and assemble all of our printed circuit boards in-house.  We assemble all of our state of the art micro-controller driven control units in-house.  We also fabricate and assemble our soft goods in-house.   This gives us the great advantage in the current market place to rapidly change and provide custom solutions to cater to our customers needs, and also exceed our customer’s expectations.  Custom design, private labeling and short product lead times are one of many KAP Medicals strengths.
